Teacher Training and CPD workshops
½ or 1 day CPD workshops to help you bring the WOW factor to your science lessons.
In terms of teacher training, I expect everyone to get involved in trying things out! All my courses are bespoke, so the process begins with a discussion about the type of training required. I can develop a workshop for specific curriculum topics or more general ideas for developing investigations or simply exploring materials; suitable for EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Many of the activities can be easily adapted to suit all these age groups, so teachers from all levels can attend the same course.
Enabling primary schools to evaluate, strengthen and celebrate their science provision:
Raise the profile of science in your school; develop science leadership, teaching and learning; celebrate excellence in primary science.
Special Events / Consultancy
Advice for running special events such as Science Fairs, Challenge Events and NSEW activities. Take your science lessons into your wider school community. Family Science Fairs are an excellent way to promote science to pupils and parents. We can assist in all aspects of setting up and running a fair!
