Welcome to SciTech!

SciTech, the Talbot House Science and Technology Club, is open to all children in Years 3-6 at THPS. Its aim is simply to get children excited about Science and Technology.

We meet on Tuesdays (Years 3&4) and Thursdays (Years 5&6)

from 3.40pm – 4.40pm, in the Science Lab.

We love to celebrate success and involvement in Science and Technology and are delighted to present certificates for participation in the weekly activities in a number of ways:

Children completing 6, 12 and 18 separate investigations are awarded SciTech ‘Bronze’, ‘Silver’ and ‘Gold’ certificates;

‘Mini Challenge’ Certificates are awarded on certain activities to winning designs, for creative or original ideas, etc.

We have subscribed to the BA ‘First Investigators’ and ‘Young Investigators’ programmes which enables all children in the school to further develop their investigation skills and obtain nationally recognised awards for achievement in Science and Technology.
